These look amazing, Heather! How long did it take to make these?
Thank you so much, dear Christine! The process of measuring the little rectangles of wafer paper (about 1inch), cutting, shaping one of the edges, painting, dampening, shaping the petals and sticking them individually, about 1 1/2 hours for each cookie. I guess you get faster with practice!😄♥️ Thank you for asking. I really enjoyed the technique🥰
Oh Heather, Your experimentation has produced a dream job !!! Such absolutely great flowers!!! ❤️😘@Heather Bruce Sosa I have never worked with wafer paper. Is the consistency similar to gingerbread wafers?

Thank you much, my dear Gabi! Haven’t seen gingerbread wafers, but the rice wafer looks like two sheets of paper stuck together, stiff but when you dampen then (veeeeery little) they turn very easy to shape. Have you seen the wafers that are used in some churches for communion? They are made of rice. Anyway, thank you so much for your very kind words of encouragement, you know I deeply appreciate them.♥️
Oh Heather these are beautiful❤️,now long time wanted to make this experiment and it seems so great ,definitely have to try also, well done dear❤️
