Petra, you must dream of water day and night! This is a very pretty pond and koi. It looks to me that this was done wet-on-wet and then painted and then coated with warm corn syrup for shine. Is that correct? If so, I am curious to learn how you are able to pour warm corn syrup over royal icing without causing it to melt. I'd also like to know if the corn syrup stays sticky. All of your experimentation is making my head spin (in a good way)!

Christine I should wrote in this entry that I really warmed corn syrup but I let it a while so I was still able to apply it on cookie but was not so running any more . Anyway cause the shape of cookie what I mean? I did today a photo so you can see on down side of cookie a corn syrup😢but on the top still thin cover of syrup  and not sticky 😍
