I love flowers, and I'm getting better at piping them. But I wish there was someone around here giving classes. Like RH.Bake for instance

Well, it's boring to always do the same, isn't it  So I have decided to improve my flower skills and try out 3-D icing.

The baskets were piped on plastic easter egg halves - the lower and the bottom parts. After they were dry I glued them to the cookie and modeled fondant to roughly ressemble the shape I wanted the bouquet to have. And then just fixed the flowers with icing and added leaves.

The cookies now weigh a ton and I very much doubt that they will taste good *lol*
