Need to practice on my script more... Still having difficulty centering my letters. Also, if you notice, the icing on the right wing of the girl bee is not stiff enough when I first tried to pipe it. I had to go back and remix more sugar into the icing. Still need to have a better feel for icing consistency. It's a learning curve, but I've come a long way after three months! I just need to practice, practice, practice! I really do enjoy cookie decorating and love this site!

Xoxo, Arlene Chua
Most of us still have to practice, Arlene. I started this last November with gingerbread houses, and got into cookie decoration a couple of weeks before Xmas. Am totally hooked and practice whenever time allows. I just now am getting the consistency thing a bit better. Finally found a confectioner's sugar, too, that is fine enough to not clog the finer tips... still have to sieve it, though. We can't get 10X sugar in every store like the US . Oh, yeah, and scripting is one of the hardest darn things to do, in my opinion... cause the icing seems to tend to curl more with finer tips. Anyway, your cookies are wonderful, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of them !!!
