We started this tradition when we were dating, and it has evolved over time depending on what life looked like with kids and work and chaos… we have done much bigger, more elaborate pieces as well as much smaller, simpler ones… and we only missed one year when he was out of town for work. Now that I’ve learned so much about decorating, I have to hold back my perfectionism and just enjoy the time spent with him doing this thing we love.
