Gingerbread House Wonderland

#43 Gingerbread House Challenge - My granddaughter inspired me to create this Gingerbread house. She said, "Mimi" you are always creating cookies, why not make me a house. So I did.  I used my Chocolate Sugar Cookie recipe and added a little ginger. I used sugar veil to create the needlepoint on the roof and the scroll work on the window and door.

I love an all-white palette. Your gingerbread house is a perfect example of its elegance - like the beauty of freshly fallen snow. The lace work, needlepoint, and beading are perfectly suited for a winter gingerbread house. Your granddaughter was smart to suggest this project. Your gingerbread house is stunning and I hope you create more.
