If I can eat the bag of cookies for Halloween, isn’t that wonderful?
That’s my whole idea. Let’s make eatable bags then!
Prepare edible lace with SugarVeil mat. I used SugarVeil Brooches Mat.
Blue arrowed edges are cut off from the lace and they are going to be used later as bands, don’t throw them away.
Red arrowed part is the body of the bag.
With SugarVeil Medallions mat, they are for bottom of the bag.
↑ ↑ Bake cookie as the size of Medallion, put royal icing on the cookie, after it dried completely, paint the icing with your favorite color. (colored icing can be used) Then put medallion lace on the cookie.
Wrap the bottom cookie with red arrowed part just like following.
After cookies and candies are put into the bag, close the bag with your finger. To close the bag, add a little water as glue then wrap it with blue arrowed band. (see first photo)
What a clever idea. Tagging @SugarVeil (Michele Hester) here, as I know she would love to see this application of her mat!

Thanks too for the mini tutorial. I always appreciate the level of information you provide in your posts!
Thank you, @Julia M. Usher. I totally forgot "@" thing. I really hope this is fun idea to cookiers and kids who are going to get the bag. The bag really does not need to be big, small is fine. Wrapping item can be eaten may bring kids a broad smile.
