Since the election in the US is almost here, I decided to give a subliminal message to my cookies this week. Since there are a lot of components to it and 150 count – it was much more ambition than I anticipated. I ended up with a lot of points, bubbles, smudges and inconsistencies. And believe me, after writing UMATR and VOTE 150 times, my already questionable penmanship was on its last breath. I do think though that it’s a cute cookie. The people at the community kitchen were thrilled, which made me happy. Since the cookie is a vehicle, I was able to attribute the icing messiness to bad driving.
... attribute the mess of the icing to bad driving ... !!! 😂😂😂 You brighten my day with your comments every time !!If I haven't laughed by then, I'll do it when I read your words ... !!! I find myself loving your comments as much as I love your cookies! And ... if you make so many cookies every time, under time pressure, so to speak, then the cookies can sometimes "run" badly ... I myself think it makes a difference whether you work in chord or whether you only make individual, detailed cookies.I don't think it's bad!I just find there is a difference.

Thanks Buddy. I agree with you about the difference in the approach with large and small batches. I've been on this 150 batch since April, which is so much different than a couple of dozen. I'm learning a lot about what I can accomplish in the allotted time frame and what I can't! When I do too complicated designs for 150 I get quite the earful from neglected family members!
