Iced Composition

first experiment for #37Practice bakes perfect challenge entries ,isomalt rocks,ice,water,gingerbread pieces of ice where bear standing

That was quick! Can you please point to the actual isomalt water in this picture? A lot of the water looks like a photo backdrop, so I want to be sure @Bakerloo Station and the other "judges" are clear on where your isomalt water begins and ends. Thank you.

Maybe you have right, and I didn't understand it well, Gingerbread pieces are like broken ice blocks and all isomalt is on top of them as melted ice, more pieces of broken one... But maybe to clear opinion helps 2nd photo to decide if it looks like melted ice, so like water down the bear, thanks for your time and comment

I'll have @Bakerloo Station weigh in on this one - the challenge specifically says that you need to represent water (in its liquid state), not ice or steam. This looks to be mostly ice to me, but, again, I'll let Christine take a look and get back to you about whether this image qualifies.

I'll have @Bakerloo Station weigh in on this one - the challenge specifically says that you need to represent water (in its liquid state), not ice or steam. This looks to be mostly ice to me, but, again, I'll let Christine take a look and get back to you about whether this image qualifies.

Congratulations on being our first entrant to Challenge #37! This is quite a scene, and that backdrop is perfect! It's hard to tell where the cookies end and the backdrop begins. I think you did a nice job of getting the isomalt to look like it was splashed, and that blue color is quite convincing. Well done.

Still, let me caution that the rules specifically exclude ice as an acceptable form of water. If it weren't for that one splash of water, I would have had to have disqualified this entry (which would make me sad!). So please, in the future, steer clear of the ice (pun intended).
