Lorena, I absolutely LOVE what you've done with the molds on the teapots!! I have that mold and have wondered just what would be a good way to use it to display its beauty. You've done it! The blue color is so gorgeous and compliments the gold beautifully ♥. Would it be ok for me to "borrow" your idea on how to use this mold? Would love to come up with my own twist on your idea for my family .
I've been fascinated more and more by fondant work and yours is a perfect example of how to use fondant to its best effect! May I ask if you have any challenges with coloring the fondant to get such a dark color? Or do you purchase a blue fondant and then add some gel paste to get the right color? Just curious as I've had some challenges with the fondant consistency when trying to obtain a very deep color (starting with white fondant).

Hi Carol ! Thank you so much . Please of course feel free to use any idea. It would be an honor. I have been working for over a year with fondant because I want to put one in the market here in Costa Rica. But it has been very challenging . I really hope it can come true one day I start coloring the fondant from white. I try to get the best pigment between powder, liquid or gel . Blue is difficult. Americolor navy blue gives the best deep blue I think. Hope this information was useful.
