Hi, all. I am posting a Google Translation of Yazz's comment, so the English speakers among us can read it:
"My inspiration for this project was my childhood, the toys, the Barbies that I liked so much and I still like them !!! It brings me beautiful memories of my grandparents and Three Kings Day, which here in Mexico is tradition.
I wanted to make the typical gingerbread house with sweets, in pastel colors. Only they are not real sweets, I made them with icing and fondant. I used transfers to make the pretzels, the colored gummies that I will sugar with decorative sugar, the gingerbread children, and the popsicles that are made of icing and gum paste as well. than sweets. the windows are made with isomalt. I used the knitting technique on the ceiling, and in the chocolates as well, I painted them with shades and gel dyes, I wanted to put more things like a Christmas tree but I think the base was tiny and nothing else could fit, everything is edible including the base, I put real grains of salt on the pretzels and painted with gel.
I have loved this challenge with my two houses that I did and I enjoyed it very much, both are very contrasting, one very large and the other very small. It was a challenge for me to do them since I had not done one before and I was very satisfied with the result. I hope you like it, thanks again for organizing these challenges and for this page that is full of wonderful, warm and kind people, I wish you all have a wonderful and new beginning 2021 many congratulations and best wishes to all of you!!!"

This is a wonderful gingerbread house. It has all of the classic elements: pastel colors, gingerbread men, and deliciously sweet candy, which you have so expertly recreated with royal icing, fondant and gel colors. I love your knitted roof and they way you have carried this pattern through to other parts of your house. This is such a happy and cheerful entry. Thank you for showing us how you created your decorations.
