What a variety! I like the background of the cookie in the center, how did you achieve that effect?

Thank you Manu . For the center cookie I dipped a fan brush into a small amount of flood black icing, wiped the excess off on a paper towel and lightly brushed across the areas I wanted to add color to. Easy peasy!

I was thinking you used an airbrush, but the texture was puzzling. Very nice effect!

These are really delightful! I love the colors and lines and dots, and you did RI flowers (which are so hard for me). Great set, Carol! <3

Thanks so much Kim! I love making flowers

I was just thinking that I hadn't seen any of Carol's work lately.  What a delight!

A fan brush!  I've never known what to do with one.  You've used it to great affect.

The large flower is impressive. Drew me right in.  All of the flowers are lovely and beautifully arranged on the cookies.

Did you use gold and silver leaf on the cross and the little red heart next to it?

Alright, gotta know, how mini is mini? Working on minis can be a bit of a challenge. You're certainly up to it.

Hi Pip!!! Thank you for your kind comment . I've just finished a few more cookies and will photograph them today. Hopefully I'll get them posted tomorrow...

I did use gold and silver leaf on the gold cross and little red heart (ate the little red heart yesterday...yummmm). The heart mini is about an 1" long and 3/4" tall. Now that's a mini! The other cookies are more like 1 1/2 - 2"  which is still pretty darn small.

It's always so nice to hear from you...will be looking for your new posts .
