One more monogram, this time for my mom. Again a virtual cookie, as we live about 9000km apart. But receiving this picture was much appreciated. She told me “what a pity I can’t eat it!”. She made me chuckle because the common comment I am used to receive on this kind of cookies is “This is too pretty to eat!’”. I know her well enough to know that she would never eat it and very likely she will frame it and put it on the kitchen wall. She meant that it was a pity being so far from each other!
Anyway, another common comment I am used to receive on this kind of cookies is about the perfect lines. I didn’t pipe the lines, but I used again SugarVeil Needlepoint Mat and their Confectionery Icing for edible lace. I discovered this tool and the product three years ago while participating to a PBP Challenge here on Cookie Connection and used in my projects inspired by Julia M Usher (who also co-designed it).
How I love this gorgeous cookie dear Manu @Manu biscotti decorati. Such a wonderful virtual gift of love to your mom. Your rose is beautifully piped and I love the vines you used for another graceful touch. Beautiful work as always my friend ❤️
