New Cookie Cutter

New Cookie Cutter
Yesterday I received this cutter from a tinsmith. Before I can decorate it I need some advice. What would you do about the animals being the the same height as the giraffe?

You could franken-cookie it to extend the giraffe's neck: Cut it out with this cutter; then splice his neck and insert another "neck" piece.

I’ve thought about that.  I’ve also considered cutting off the other animals and putting two more giraffes in there.  I want to put in bars and paint in the animalsso you also see the lower half.

Make the other animals stand on boxes inside the cage?

I’m concerned about animals standing on boxes in a moving vehicle.  Am I over thinking it?  Thanks for the idea!

LOL, yes. I have a question: what’s the animal to the right of the giraffe? I want to know if they’re farm animals that met a giraffe somehow and are traveling to a nice place together.

I would also like to know.  I think the first one is a zebra, then kangaroo, then giraffe and last a tiger.  I’m really guessing.  How about a second giraffe.

Hi dear @Econlady, I just roughly tried to finish drawing the animals. Somehow they are all at different heights, as if they were distributed in the car. It looks like a circus train to me. ?example

Wow!  That’s amazing.  You are talented!  It looks like the kangaroo is floating!

I don’t know why I was seeing a horse, a goat, a giraffe and then I couldn’t guess the fourth one! That’s why I was confused about what’s a giraffe doing there.

It’s a circus so they normally horses, tigers, lions, bears giraffes and elephants.  Choices are limited.

Thank you so much dear @Econlady ❤️😘 Yes, the kangaroo looks like this!...

today I’m going to play with it using your drawing.  I was thinking he could be standing on a bale of hay.  I could make him standing kind of tiptoe trying to look over the top.  Then I can have hay at different heights.  Still I’m not sure what to make the fourth animal.  Thanks again!

I think the 4th animal is a llama or alpaca, but it's too big for an alpaca ...
I'm looking forward to your cookie!

You could make the last one an alpaca. I asked an agricultural engineer from the Andes (my cousin) "what is the animal next to the giraffe?" and he said "there's no giraffe there! It's a foal/pony (too small to be a horse), a goat, a llama, and an alpaca"  So maybe you can make it an alpaca? They're smaller than llamas.

I’m going to make the last one a llama.  The problem with a goat why would a circus have a goat?  A baby giraffe is more likely.  Thank you co much for your wonderful input!

It's probably because he doesn't think they're going to the circus! He thinks they're being transported to the farm. lol...opinions.

He said "if they're going to the circus, what's a kangaroo doing there?" So, yes, you could make it a llama. It's all make believe anyway. It doesn't have to be totally true. I'm in the US and I don't think we'll ever see a circus again around here. He's in South America, and I don't think they'll see a circus again, either. Looking forward to your cookie! That's a beautiful cutter of the kind we don't see around anymore.

It was designed to be a circus truck.  I have a thing for circus cookie cutters.  A few years ago a sweet woman knew I liked her circus cutters and she mailed them to me.  It’s a very rare set because only a hundred sets were made.  I only met the woman once!  Thank you for your help!

You are amazing Gabi!!! ❤️

I just read through all of these fabulous ideas @Econlady! So many great ideas and options to consider...I would be in a quandry with this cutter as well. But, it's fun, too. I'm a visual person and like how Gabi created a circus theme graphically. Whatever you decide to do my dear will be fabulous!! You are so creative and talented ❤️ I can't wait to see it

I love Michael Bonne cutters!  He designs and makes unique cutters with character.
