This is a long rectangle, 7" x 1.25", which is the surface area equivalent of a 3.35" round cookie; I hope this stretched out cookie does not violate the rules of the challenge. The shape is inspired by the long silverware and long dark gray place markers on the table setting around the dinner plate. The wet-on-wet colors and floral pattern pull from the inspiration pics. A swatch of gold has been added behind the lettering to match the gold accents on the table setting. The design is more playful than formal, and using the edible marker to finish off the design makes this an easy and fast cookie to produce in mass. Cookie is sealed in a cello bag for freshness and food safety, as the exterior box is actually a clear lid jewelry display gift box. Favor box is tied with a thin metallic gold ribbon ending in a simplified bow. I made a mini version as well, 3" x 1.5", with a scaled down design, surface area equivalent of a 2.4" round cookie.
sealed in cello bag, packaged in jewelry display gift box...

This cookie is really quite stunning. I love how you have kept the details relatively simple but still managed to make an impact with the overall design. The same goes for the packaging, which seems like it was made for this cookie. The thin rectangular shape of your wedding favor is very unique, and I like how you thoughtfully drew inspiration from the silverware and the place markers. Excellent entry all around!

Thank you Christine @Sweet Prodigy for the kudos! I made six long cookies and six minis, measured and hand cut the dough to fit within the box once baked, and was surprised at just how easy and fast they were to produce!! Thanks for another great challenge!!!
So beautiful @Virago!! It's simple yet elegant. I love the simplicity of the design and how you've created the flowers that really set off the writing of Mr. & Mrs. Awesome work once again my dear ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs...
