AMAZING dear Sonja @iSugarfy (aka swissophie)!!! What precision work and gorgeous colors on the peacock. Once again your design makes me say "WOW" ❤️ ❤️

I'm trying to imagine handling the whole peacock transfer...talk about being nervous!!! You always inspire me, my friend

I didn't have to take the transfer into hands... that would have been too risky, as it's about 20cm in diameter. Instead I loosened it with a stiff piece of plastic and slid it onto a thin glass from a picture frame (had to be transparent to see where to place), then onto the cookie.

Thanks a million for your kind words, dear Carol @Cookies Fantastique ❤️❤️❤️!!!

Thank you for the detailed explanation of how  you transfered the peacock to the cookie . Still, I would have been super nervous. LOL...Hugs ❤️❤️

I am almost speechless. Almost.

This is absolutely brilliant. The design is just stunning. I am blown away by the fact that this is a transfer. I would love to know exactly how you reinforced the outer feathers with the white royal icing, and whether to placed the transfer onto freshly-flooded cookie, or if the base icing was already dried. IF the base coat of icing was already dry, then did you mere affix the transfer with dabs of royal icing here and there (if so, I cannot see them!). Finally, can I just say I am in love with the border on this cookie. It is absolutely gorgeous and could not compliment the peacock any better. What a spectacular addition to the challenge!

Thank you so very much for such a kind comment, Christine @Bakerloo Station!

After the first level of piped lines, I've added white flood consistency icing between the lines of the outer feathers. Zooming into the bottom right one shows this.

I've placed the transfer onto dried icing with dabs of icing underneath the reinforced outer feathers. They can't be seen because the reinforcements have enough icing area to cover them.

Thanks again very much ❤️❤️❤️!

I am so jealous!  That is just so pretty.  I am going to end up with a "nailed it" moment....that of course will be nothing like it.  That is beautiful.

Thanks so much, @Imbrookesmom ❤️❤️❤️!
