Reindeer Games

My inspiration for this week’s cookies came from @Gingerland and the Christmas Ornaments she made last month.  https://cookieconnection.julia...ristmas-ornaments-22

I thought the reindeer was just divine.  I decided to do my own take one it.  The entire reindeer is a royal icing transfer.  The cookie cutter shape is an upside-down pear with the top lopped off.  I had planned on making a white border of dots or some textured design but I didn’t have it in me to do 150.  By that point, I was a bit over the reindeer games.

Thanks Buddy.  Yes, the whole reindeer is a transfer.  There was no way I could get all of the elements completed for 150 without the cookie drying out so it was the only way to go.  I am thrilled that all the parts held together.  I had anticipated more of the ear and antlers breaking off but it only happened a few times.
