This is one of two cookies I made for this challenge. I do not work with fondant a lot and had a wonderful time experimenting. I had planned on using more dusts and hand painting accents but time got away from me. Additionally, I should have cleaned up the corn starch more but, again, time. I fear if I don’t post these now, it may not happen. So here we go….
The plant container is embossed. I airbrushed to darken the blue and used some luster dust to highlight the imprint.
The flowers are molded.
The leaves are cut-outs, which have also been embossed.
I used luster dust throughout but somewhat willy nilly.
Your cookie is beautifully decorated. Just a reminder of Rule 1 - Create a set of at least three (3) cookies.... Are there two other cookies to complete the set? If so, you can post them in the comments section.
As per Rule 2, what is the theme for your set?
Also, I know you have created some magnificently elaborate flower planters in the past. Were there any new challenges that you faced with this entry, and what were some of the things you learned?
(So as not to repeat myself, these comments apply to your other entry as well. 🙂)

Oh my mistake Christine! I thought we needed to use or incorporate at least three cookies (this one has twelve). My bad. I also didn't have a proper "theme", I was just playing around with floral arrangements.
As you mentioned, I have done a number of floral arrangements in the past and all I can see are the flaws!! My hope was to try and improve but I really ran out of time (and apparently did not read the instructions properly! 😂😂)
Imprinting the fondant on the container was a challenge for me. I both attached and imprinted the sides before assembly, and attached and imprinted the fondant to the completed cube. The challenge the first way was that I mushed the imprint too much as I assembled. The second way is what is pictured. The imprint is more defined but inconsistent in spots.
I also had some challenges with the assembly of the bouquet. I miscalculated the size of the molded flower and when I sent to attach it, it was too small for the hemisphere. I corrected the problem by covering the hemisphere with a layer of white fondant. I then attached the molded flower to the covered hemisphere. The process would have been much easier if I had covered the pieces in fondant before attaching the hemispheres to the base.
My sincere apologies again on not paying attention to the rules. I know you put a great deal of time and effort into the challenges and I mean no disrespect. So very sorry

No need to apologize. I am glad to know that you are practicing and learning.
