A virtual cookie for my friend Silvia on her Birthday, highly inspired by a pendant she has received about 40 years ago on her First Communion (if I remember well!😊😊😊). We grew up together and she has been wearing it for years, so it was really impressed in my mind. I asked her to send me a picture, hoping she didn’t imagine I wanted to “cookie” it.
She still had it somewhere and here it is in its cookie version! I piped the border in yellow though.
The flowers are wet on wet...
...then once the icing was dry I handpainted the outline.
Beautiful @Manu biscotti decorati!! Love the idea of using little flowers, graduating in size, to create the letter . You're just so clever with lots and lots of amazing ideas my dear...what will you come up with next? ...lots of hugs ❤️❤️❤️
Oh my! This is SO beautiful!!!!! You did an amazing job of recreating it. Thank you for sharing the technique!
Thank you, Christine @Sweet Prodigy! I like flowers with 5 petals. I asked her to send me that picture months ago, then she sent it to me few weeks ago with the one with the knots framed, that inspired my latest tutorial. Just in time for her B-Day!!!!

😊😊😊 Thank you, @Cookies Fantastique, I just digged in my memories. Some things are really there ready to be “cookied”! Let’s see... 😊
Manu, this is so simple and beautiful!!! Love the colors 💙💛💙
Thank you, @Noaa!💙 I couldn’t nail the same shade of blue, but I am happy with that! I texted the pic to my friend, with the B-Day wishes, but she hasn’t seen it yet😊
Oh that's how nice of you, Manu! Silvia is going to be really surprised and happy to receive the cookie!
Thank you, @Ryoko ~Cookie Ave.. Yes, she was, but the cookie is again virtual this year. I liked this wet on wet experiment, it is leading to new ideas!
Stunning. Bet she was excited when she saw this beautiful recreation.
Not only does your creativity know no bounds, but your thoughtfulness does too Manu.

Yes, she was surprised . I texted her the pics and birtday wishes though, I couldn’t send the cookie from Dubai. Last year I sent her the cookies: it was my very first and only cookie delivery! There are again little flowers but in pink.
Thank you @pip for your kind words. At the moment cookies and memories are really overlapping. Everything around me could put the seeds to make some cookies. I have a few projects in stand-by, taking shape in my mind.
