Santa's Cottage

Christmas time is time of promises,greetings and most of all of dreaming,Every night we fall to sleep with my son Niko and speaking how it looks like the Santa's cottage,the place he lives,talking a lot about ,so I promise and created this cozy cottage for him ,only Santa is missing❤️He is so glad watching on all the time playig with using playmobil figures and I feel so nice about and realized that kids doesn't need much to be happy so how about to be happy and glad with small things everybody?

To create front fasades I spreade with spatula royal icing and on one created concrete texture only different is I used more stiff royal icing as Haniela in  her video  https://www.instagram.com/p/CECdYEOCDAY/

For base I used a part ofalluminum baking an and front 2 face fasade cookie cutter on photo bellow 

Gingerbread base brushed with royal icing and powdered with crystal sugar

To create isomalt christmas globes I used for 1 white color and red for second lobe this nice video helps a lot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7wyOdYvN18   only change I did was using 2 parts 2 half globes conecting betwee ..on hot pan for e sec the side wnted to be connected working aways quickly and carefully holding togethe for  sec and ready globe!!

Angel and reindeer baked in molds ,I did also a few edible lace snowflakes

Santa's cottage looks full of charm. The motifs are a wonderful touch. I also like how you used ribbon piping for the snow on top of the cottage. And you are right, we can be happy and glad with the small things. Thank you for sharing all of the links!

Petra, your cottage is adorable. I love how you used quick techniques (stencils) to create a fun and unique piece. The reindeer is hilarious.
