I love Springerle cookies! So soft inside and crunchy outside, very easy to do; they are always a perfect gift for my sweet tooth friends especially in Spring because they often have flower shapes. I don't have original wooden molds, so I used soap/candles molds and some silicone molds I have for fondant. My pleasure to share with you my recipe: it is fat free and vanilla/orange tasted....my child loves them baked like this ❤
Oh Evelin, incredibly gorgeous springerle cookies! I've looked at so many molds and thought about trying my hand at a recipe I've seen for springerle cookies. You've got it down, girl (as with everything else you do) . So elegant, too ♥
So beautiful, Evelin! Thanks for the recipe, I'm going to try it for sure!
I have baked them again today in white, pink and chocolate. Today I used almond/vanilla flavours for white, orange for pink and chocolate/cinnamon/orange for brown; they are very good and so quick to do! ❤

Thank you sweet Carol! My first attempt at them was very funny and satisfying, I am in love with springerle cookies now ❤

These are something I have been so wanting to try. I don't have wooden molds either. So are you saying you just push the dough into the silicone molds by hand for shaping?

Yes, but reverse :I push the mold onto the dough like a stamp! Remember to put a veil of flour on your dough so it won't stick on the molds. Their 'plaster' look is also due to the flour
