I think the baby carriage is the only cookie I made for this challenge that has not some sort of butterfly symmetry (also had a tractor with frontloader for the sideways shape in mind).
Below other views of the Gooty Sapphire Tarantula. I knew I wanted to do a spider with two legs in each half part of the wings, but didn't know such a beautiful spider exists!
Each joint of the spider's legs were piped separately, then "glued" together in twos to give them the right angle, then those were glued together and to the body supported by tissue. The markings and hair were painted last.
Hope my swans still quaify, as a recent set has them as a design as well...
The depth of the cookie with the swans is amazing, and the baby carriage... loved to see the close ups of the tarantula, a lot of work on the textured background as well as on the spider! Amazing work!

Thank you, Manu ❤️❤️❤️! Yes, the spider took some time to do, but the baby carriage was much more of a challenge, because of the very fragile transfers. For the top handle and the small front wheel I had almost no support, so had to pipe some underneath, trying to not have them show too much . Thanks again!
Such spectacular work, Sonja! Thank you for explaining how you made the spider. Normally, I would say that it's too beautiful to eat, but in this case, I don't think "beautiful" is the word that comes to mind when one thinks about consuming this delicate pastry! Very impressive work!!!

Thanks a bunch, Christine ❤️❤️❤️! Haha, yes, you're right, one would certainly associate a few other qualities with the consumption of this creature ! Thanks again!
How do you do it, Sonja, from where you have so many ideas ???? Magnificent !!!!
Thank you so much, dear Ewa ❤️❤️❤️! I believe that we all draw our creativity from the same place, the source for everything. I can access this place best when resting my body, not feeling it anymore. This seems to help relax my mind, so inspiration can flow. Thanks again!
Can I copy Evelin @Evelindecora post and everybody elses' too, coz I'm speechless!!!
Do you give private lessons? I would loooove one! My dream is to attend one of Julia's @Julia M. Usher and Evelin's lessons and also yours too
Thanks for your kind words, Zara ❤️❤️❤️! Feel free to copy my post (I know you will give credit ;-)). As for lessons, I don't have any experience teaching, but who knows what the future holds... Thanks again so much!!!

Your kind and sweet words always make my day, Carol . Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️ ❤️❤️❤️ ❤️❤️❤️ !
Dear Sonia, I'm not crazy about spiders, but since you wanted to do one, this is a standout. The swans are exquisite and the baby carriage is wonderful!
