The Seeds of Knowledge and Love

It all started from the heart or with the heart to be exact. It was a quick one, I saw it at first glance I wanted to think of something which will fill in the whole cookie shape and I also wanted to make the three cookies connected with a theme. I wanted to make a Back to School cookies for my kids' first day at school (which is Sept. 15th here). So the letter A just fit in there so easily. I hope it is almost clear that on the cookie with the open book it's me with my two kids reading a big school book My kids love books, my daughter is a real book worm, so there had to be worms and of course the apple they get everyday at school They also love to eat slices of apples while they read

Oh great! so cute and very good theme!   You and two kids with a book, that's wonderful.

I love how you utilized the cookie space so well AND also related each piece to a unifying theme.

These are wonderful Zara!! I just love the designs and how cleverly you blended the 3 cookies into one theme. I hadn't seen you holding the book until you pointed it out. Lol. Absolutely perfect!! Beautiful work
