Winter Star - Sweet Prodigy

This is what happens when I make mistakes. This was supposed to be a recreation of the first royal icing "sketch" shown but I wasn't paying attention. The second "sketch" shows what I actually ended up creating. This is by far one of my most favourite pieces. Everything fell into place without any planning.

Why am I suddenly reminded of one of my favourite Christmas presents as a kid - a Spirograph?  This must take you hours and hours to pipe!

This is definitely not a 15 minute cookie!  @Mugwump. It does look a bit like Spirograph, which I also love so much that I actually did make Spirograph cookies!
