Hi Heidi. I dipped the edges in flood icing very carefully :-)

Lucy,  did you dip them after the top of the cookie was flooded and sprinkled?

Hi Pip. The bare cookie was first sprayed with pearl (no flooding), then the edges dipped and dried, then the spruce piped.

I'm afraid the Cake Central feature was a showcase of designs arising from their inspiration picture, with no tutorials or words! I've definitely got it lined up for a tutorial in my head though :-)
