Trying to find good weekend long fondant classes in my area is very difficult, I was hoping someone could shed some light on a good method of finding fondant classes in specific areas or within a certain mile radius.  I was also wondering if others were having the same problem in other areas.  We have Wilton classes here, but I have received more from tutorials online than in those classes which has been terrific but a nice weekend class targeting a certain thing, a chance to do one on one work in person and meet others with the same interests would be great. I live in the Jacksonville, FL area.

Gosh, I wish I could help, but there are very few decorating classes in Missouri as well. Our local Hobby Lobby conducts a few - have you checked out either Hobby Lobby or Michaels for classes? One other thought: if you're looking for cake decorating, take a look at craftsy.com. They do many online cake decorating classes, with homework and some opportunity to interact with the instructor and students online. They may be the next best thing to a live class.

Perhaps others will post class options here as well!

Thank you all, I haven't received much from the local classes at AC Moore, the instructors are always canceling classes because they don't have enough people signing, the rooms are so small and time so limited for what they are trying to teach.  I got through the basic class and kept signing up for fondant and the class kept getting canceled. Thats when I began reading and reading and reading online and relying on so many of you to ask questions to. I marked the Facebook page for the Miami classes and will check out the other ones in Atlanta, this is at least much more than I had yesterday. As always you all are so much help, thank you.
