Cookies can, of course, be turned into all sorts of flowers! But did you know that one of the tutorials in Cookie Connection's Watch-Learn-Create Series is all about creating hyper-realistic ones? The tutorial in question was originally filmed for Challenge #54 by Challenge Host @Manu biscotti decorati, and it features the handiwork of Anna Oliinyk, aka @Anna_Sunday_Cookers, who is one talented cookier! While Anna's tutorial focuses on the cornflower, a native of her home country of Ukraine, it contains scads of tips for ensuring that any flower you pipe (and any cookie bouquet you create) is as lifelike as possible. Among the tips that Anna covers are: using contoured cookies as your base, piping flowers at various stages of blooming, and making liberal use of shading techniques.
