Three weeks into cookie designing, and with the help of Julia M. Usher's tutorials and some previous culinary training, I'm creating these elegant cookies. Thanks, Julia!

Congratulations, they look wonderful! And thanks so much for the shout-out!
P.S. I'm not sure if you meant to post this note to the forums or not, but typically single image posts get posted to the Clips section so they can be seen in our home page and Clips section photo feeds. You posted it to the forums, which is a place for casual cookie chat, but more often for more directed Q&A.
Thank you for responding to my post Julia and the FYI. Your tutorials really are great. The mistakes you make during your tutorials are invaluable learning aids to reflect on while practicing my baking and design techniques. I hope to create cookies as beautiful as yours one day.

Thanks, though - gosh - I hope I'm not making that many mistakes in my tutorials. They aren't intentional!
They are very few but I wish there were more honestly because I learn best that way. Some teachers have so much experience that they forget how to teach someone just starting out. The mistakes help us new comers get hip to the game. I thought you made the mistakes on purpose as training aids.

LOL - sometimes I do, but more often, they happen because I am working much faster (believe it or not) than I usually do when shooting videos. I also usually have only one or two takes on them, since I am paying a video crew to shoot me and I can't afford to be as perfectionistic as I would like to be. Usually the piece I put together in the shoot is one that I don't save for photographing later, as it has more mistakes than typical. And when I spot a mistake as I work, I can't help but point it out - it's in my nature to be hyper self-critical . . .
But it's good to know the mistakes are helpful (I learn best by making mistakes too!). Others have said this too, so I think I'll keep them!
Love the term, "Hyper Self-Critical", story of my life. I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to respond to my post. I'm sure you have a ton of other way more important tasks to tend to. I'm off to bake my next batch of cookies and watch one of your tutorials. ;-)

My pleasure to chat with you! Happy baking!
