We're a first time vendor going to CookieCon next month and need to choose which products to bring. Since we're from the cake world, which of our products [you can see them by clicking the 'SugarVeil' cake photo in the column on the right, or by clicking here] would be best to bring for cookie decorators? The AirPen? The Vacuum Pickup Tool? SugarVeil Icing? Mats? Thank you in advance for your help - really appreciate it! Hope to see you there.

Hi, Michelle, Quick question: You mentioned a cake photo to click on, on the right? But where can that photo be found - on your site? Did you mean to say to click on the photo that you added as an attachment, because I can see all of the products pretty clearly there?

Also, I think the vacuum pick-up tool and AirPen have great applications for people who do a lot of piping and piecework, so they get my vote. Also, any smaller mats or ones with designs that can be easily isolated for cookie work (like the Brooches mat) would be awesome. Sorry I won't see you there, but I wish you a great show!

Never mind on the first part - I think you meant on this site!  People, you have to scroll down a fair bit to see the SugarVeil cake image on the right side of this site, so you can do that or use this direct link.

I've also added it to Michelle's initial post above.

That's right, Julia - that's the image to which I was referring. Appreciate the product recommendations, and I do hope our paths will cross at one of these shows!

I do cakes, cookies, and cupcakes Other confections! Would love to see some applications for small things and see how to wrap round cake mini cakes-have an order in fall I want to try this on! Cannot wait to see this product in action in person! So excited!

For cakes you can use  water, piping gel or cornsyrup, for cookies pipingel or corn syrup, and for chocolate piping gel.  Some people sumerged the lace on wather and quickly apply it to the chocolate, I do not like that.

Appreciate the reply, Winn - we will have some finer-detailed things for less-than-cake-sized confections with us. Please introduce yourself when you come by to demo the AirPen - thank you, and see you then!

Yes, I have, but I've only tried it with relatively loose SugarVeil. It works great; I imagine it would be even more valuable when piping icing of a thicker consistency (due to fatigue issues)!

Thanks.  I'm thinking about starting a new the air pen.  Would that be correct or should I leave it here?

I would like to hear more opinions from people who have used the air pen.  Should this be a separate topic or are any sugar veil questions okay?

Please put this question in a separate topic? It's not related to what Michele asked at the start of the post. Thanks.
