THESE ARE COOKIES! (4x4 in/10x10cm) Cookies and royal icing, for the filling and the decoration, in this “mini cookie version” of what seems to be a trend right now: the Cream Tart. You surely have noticed this kind of tarts made in layers of short crust in the shapes of letters or numbers, filled with cream and decorated with flowers, and fruit. Inspired by the creations of Adi Klinghofer Home Made Bakery, but they are everywhere on the web.
When I saw the first cakes with this style, I was wondering whether or not these would look nice as cookies as well. Now I know that they do
Great job, Manu! When looking at it for the first time it totally looks like a cake. And I am a bit in love with those blueberries. They look so real!
Thank you Anne! And about the blueberries, I was hoping for them to naturally crater, or maybe I wasn’t afraid if they did, because I needed that small hole. I had to made it with a scribe tool on each one of them.😊
Oh wow @Manu biscotti decorati!!! How in the world did I miss this gorgeous-ness (is that a word?). I absolutely love your creativity and your talent continues to amaze me .

Thank you Carol @Cookies Fantastique! I love this trend (the Cream Tart). Developing it into cookies has many advantages: it last longer, it is easy to pack and it makes a cute present, and no problem with non edible flowers!
Thank you @Carol-Anne . You always leave a comment to my clips, since my very first post here on Cookie Connection, back two years ago. I really appreciate that😊
