It took about 3 weeks from planning to finish. I made a cardboard version first to make sure everything worked, then cut out all the cookies from those templates. Making the windows took the longest. Originally Posted by Econlady:

Ah!  After asking I kept wondering, she cannot mean she poured it on the entire cookie.  lol  Then it hit me.  I was Wow!  You did a splendid job, a masterpiece!  Love it.  I've made hard crack before only to play with it for decorative designs on a cake.  I like your idea to use for the windows.
