As she mentioned, it is easy to melt gummy bear. It depends on the amount of gummy bear and other conditions but it took only 10 to 20 seconds by 600W microwave for me. Gummy bear smells good, too. That’s really cool!
I used also melted gummy bear last year for the panes of my 3-D Christmas tree, as I ran out of isomalt. I don’t have a microwave so I melted the gummy bears in a pot (edited: I wrote pan earlier) and I added some drops of water. The smell of the melted gummy bears and the cookie dough was amazing. I remember i put them in the fridge to let them set. Compare to the isomalt I found the melted gummy bears are more stable.
I love them, and I love all the different techniques you used for these beauties! I just have to try this gummy bear one👏👏 Congratulations dear Ryoko 🥰
WOW Ryoko, your work inspires me again and again !! @Ryoko ~Cookie Ave. So clever !!! The pattern looks really beautiful with the gummy bear on the mat !! And so cool, what you implement from "2 Infos" and above all your own grandiose ideas !! I really so like your work and mini tutorials Ryoko !!!! Absolutely great work!!! ❤️😘
Dear Manu, @Manu biscotti decorati So cool, I didn't know you made gummy bears! I think the idea with the pan and the added water is awesome! I could imagine that the bears would dissolve better in a coated pan and would be a little more "supple" when water was added. I have to try that next time!!

🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️Got lost in translation!!! I said “pan” but I meant “pot”, a little inox pot. Yes, those few drops of water helped to get the mass a little bit runny. But I guess it is quicker in the microwave!
These are fabulous Ryoko @Ryoko ~Cookie Ave.!!! I absolutely love the lacy frame with SugarVeil and the gummy bears melted perfectly. I still haven't tried that although I know that Gabi @Icingsugarkeks has had great success with that technique . Her creativity is always amazing to see.
Now you've taken that idea one step further...Such a great idea to use the mat as a surface for pouring the melted gummy bears into the heart areas...you are amazing my dear ❤️. So creative.

Hi Manu. Thank you🧡
Now I remember you used gummy bear, too. I have read all of your posts how couldn't I remember that....?
I wasn't sure until I tasted my cookie but, yes, cookie and gummy bear smell so good and taste good, too💚

Hi Gabi, @Icingsugarkeks thank you. Since I saw your works with melted gummy bear, I have been very curious about it. If I use isomalt, it is very hard to keep it clear for a long time. To give these cookies to my friends, I thought melted gummy bear was just perfect.
I finally got gummy bear at Costco so now I have plenty of them. 💖

Thank you, Manu. I thought I was going to ask you what would happen when we add water to gummy bear. I will try next time.
These are so pretty 🤩😍 and gammy bears...yammy... pretty yammy 😀
Hi Zara @carouselselsel This was really fun. I put some gummy bear in a silicon cup and melted them. Since I didn't add any water, it sticked to silicon cup. When it got cool enough I scraped melted gummy bear from silicon cup and ate! I ate a lot. 💕

Wonderful work, as always dear Ryoko!
Thank you, Carol. This was fun!
I have a small bucket full of gummy bear! I made some other thing, too. 💛
