1 Big and warm heart that welcomes anybody who loves, likes and is interested in decorating cookies, this heart sets surely in the center. Those roses are us, blooming, talents, skills..... and more.
2 The hammer that breaks me out of my shell, self-doubt, negative feeling, blindness:
I remember when I looked at “Terms of Use” on Cookie Connection first time, all those long terms and big words freaked me out and couldn’t register myself for months but when I registered and posted my cookie, I was very welcome. (I don’t know why I didn’t even think to use Google Translation) Since then I have been very comfortable to be here. Everyday I can see new cookies and those cookies make me happy definitely. I am learning a lot here, needless to say cookie-things but even English, somebody always helps me when I don’t understand words. Lastly I didn’t know I also could decorate cookies but participating challenges, the advices and encouragement by people here make me go forward and make my cookies better.
3. Glue: Cookie Connection glues people who have different backgrounds. I could meet some people far from my country. After I retired and started helping my mother, I was afraid that I was going to be left alone from the world (society) but Cookie Connection glued me to the world.
4. “Share” and “Learn” People here share their original cookies and they are very warm and open-minded to share their techniques and tips. I could even share some of my culture. I learn a lot here, especially by participating challenges I learn lots of techniques, I learn we can even create cookies with people who live far without meeting. Of course there are so much more
Now how I make my cookie for this challenge and which techniques I use
1. This is where I started. After the blue icing dry completely, SugarVeil laces are attached.(challenge #21: Lace)
2. Quilt:(challenge #28: tutorial by @Aproned Artist) again I challenged making quilt.
3. Hammer and Glue are made
4. The base for roses is made with the same color of roses) then roses that are made in advance are attached (challenge #16: a dozen roses)
Hammer is colored with silver, the details of glue are made
5. Then border, wet-on-wet (challenge #31: wet-on-wet)
* I use the colors that are very similar to the colors of Cookie Connection banner (logo)
Thank you, Christine, @Bakerloo Station all of your comments to my cookies are really meaningful to me and I always look forward to your comments. I feel deeply sad, you know I had participated so many challenges. I miss the challenges by you.

I always love the stories behind your cookies. And the step-by-step visuals that you add - which are SO in the spirit of learning/sharing that are so important to me and others here! Thank YOU for all that you have contributed to these challenges. Please keep it up! XOXO

Julia, Cookie Connection means a lot to me. How can I express what it means to me on one cookie? I had been thinking and thinking but this is the only design I could think, so this is it!
Thank YOU for "Cookie Connection", this is a splendid gift to us all. This is the place that makes us cry when we see each other in person. And thank you for having asked Christine of @Bakerloo Station to provide challenges. She always leaves fair and encouraging comments that make me go forward. I miss her challenge.
Oh dear Ryoko @Ryoko ~Cookie Ave., I absolutely love your cookie and all the meaning behind its creation. You are very gifted and kind! I'm so happy to have met you here ❤.
I love the analogy of the hammer to help break you out of your comfort zone. I have felt the same way.
This is a gorgeous cookie with so much meaning behind each part. You are a dear cookie friend Ryoko ❤❤❤

Hi Christine, thank you, those roses, well, I cannot make identical roses, each one looks different but that makes them a bit natural 😅 I hope. I am thinking positively. 😁
What a wonderful cookie, dear Ryoko 💖💖💖! I always love to read and see your entries! Just precious!
Thank you, Sonja. Even though you helped me a lot, I am still NOT good at isomalt😱and I couldn't put everything that I learnt on one cookie....
That would have to be a monster cookie, if you wanted to put all the techniques you have learned on it, dear Ryoko @Ryoko ~Cookie Ave. . It's such a pleasure to watch your cookie journey, how incredibly masterful you have become in so many sugar art techniques! I'm sure, in time you will get a handle on isomalt as well .

Thank you, @Heather Bruce Sosa and thank you for mentioning about my roses, I forgot to write about the roses.
Those roses are us, blooming, talents, skills and more (I am going to add this to my first comment, too)
