During a heart attack in 2010, I endured brain damage caused by lack of oxygen to my brain for 58 minutes. The following months,(2 yrs actually), I had a craving for a great iced butter cookie..... only to be greatly disappointed by everyone I sampled...... and believe me, I tried ALOT!!! I decided to try my hand at them since I have always been talented in the kitchen prior to my heart attack. ...... only to learn. .. that my short term memory loss had affected my baking skills. I set out on journey to rehabilitate myself and in doing so. ... create that PERFECT BUTTER COOKIE.... here I am 2 years later. ... and am still learning (self teaching) new techniques. Trial and error. .. but always trying!! Because it ha been a lot of "error" , it also means a lot of baking. .... which lead me to start Random Acts of Cookie Kindness.... what I randomly deliver my finished product with the attached note of " you have been selected as today's recipient of R A C K Cookies!! Have a Super Day and Pay it Forward"....
