Carol Heron novice cookie decorator.  First decorated at Christmas with my daughter; utilizing buttercream on gingerbread with Wilton flower techniques.  I really became interested to keep the art of confectionary sugar decorating in my family, as my grandmother did the old fashion multi-tiered wedding cakes. My friend , who is a “pro” in the business, took me to Cookie Con, which blew me away.  I’ve been decorating now for four years,  I can not put the piping bags away, as everyday there is some new technique to try!  I love retirement!
