This is my entry for this lovely challenge! I usually decorate cookies with royal icing but I wanted to give it a try with fondant too. Since I particularly loved the 20's atmosphere of the Great Gatsby movie I wanted to "reproduce" it on this set of cookies playing with the black, white and gold combo. I used a sugar lace mat to emboss fondant for the ruffles on corsets and I enhanced the texture painting black and white fondant with powder gold color. I was pretty satisfied with the results achieved even if I had some problems with white fondant: it was a little bit too soft and difficult to dry, so it ended up to be too shiny as well. I also used black and white striped cutouts to "dress" the corsets and a pearl and flower mold to create the necklaces. I gave a final touch adding some black feathers I modelled by hand and gold glitter dust to enhance brightness. I definitely had a lot of fun with this set and I will surely try again with another entry! 😊

Oh what a great idea dear Manuela @MANUELA CANTÙ!! I've been MIA for a l-o-n-g time and have missed SO much of the gorgeous works of art that are posted every day. You did a wonderful job creating these 20's style cookies. Awesome my dear cookie friend ❤️❤️ Hugs...

Thanks for your lovely comment Carol, I'm glad you like them 😊! Hugs❤️

I'm happy to hear that you had fun! The techniques you used are perfectly suited to the designs.  I especially love the corsets. The way you have joined the black and white pieces makes it look like they are fabric panels that have been sewn together. The lace ruffles are a nice contrast and compliment the look. Did you plan everything in advance or did you experiment as you went along?

Thanks for your lovely comment Christine! I'm glad you like them! The Great Gatsby style was the idea behind the project since the beginning, but I had to change some designs along the way due to the problem I faced with white fondant. For example, the cookie on the left-side bottom should have had a white background and there was another cookie as well, which I wanted to decorate with the background pattern of the movie poster,  but due to the consistency of white fondant it was quite impossible to do.

@MANUELA CANTÙ  Thanks for your explanation. I would not have guessed that you had needed to make changes along the way. Everything looks intentional and well thought out. Hopefully, you will have better luck with the white fondant for your next entry.
