Thank you! Still practicing and experimenting. I wanted to realize something with letters , and rather than choosing a name randomly I decided to use mine and bake just for myself, which is something unusual for me. Glad you liked the "M". I like this font very much as it looks very similar to my handwriting.
Lovely! Are the letters handcut - they have incredible crisp edges.
Thank you, Leoni. Yes, they are handcut. I used a sharpened bricolage cutter, after drawing the template with camera lucida. All tricks I learned after signin in this community. Fortunately they didn't spread in the oven and I also filed the edges a little with the zester tool. Another trick learned watching Julia's video tutorials and also Diane@Cookie Celebration LLC.
I think cookiers are so busy making cookies for everyone else that we don't even think about making them for ourselves. Hope you enjoy - they're almost too beautiful to eat.
I really like your style, Manu. Partly because you seem to love bold colours--me, too!
Thank you, Maggie! I love bold colors especially on cookies. My favourite color is blue though and I always get dress in this color, go figure! The use of bold colors is something I learned from the Challenge Instambul, after being particularly drawn by the colorful tile patterns of the Mosque and the Topkapi. I love your cookies.
