What a challenge!  This one was extremely difficult for me who is not good at piping.  Now I am good at scraping off my piping.

This is underneath of the brim of the hat.   I didn’t like some parts and I redid them.

 ref3.5

I piped over the brim and this is the underneath of flowers. There are many layers to adjust the height.

ref3

Now I know some parts were broken, that’s I didn’t notice.

ref4.5

The glove should look elegant but the outcome doesn’t look as I wished.  This is the underneath of the glove and how I made the depth.

ref4ref5

Well, I really wish I could do better with the depth of the glove that looks bumpy.    I thought I used the tip No. 1 but I think I didn't.

ref1

This is the frill of the glove.

ref2

This is my baby bird.  I colored this so it could get a little more attention in over piped other decorations.

This is the first time for me to add  corn syrup to my icing.   It was very interesting to know how my usual icing changed with a little corn syrup.

It is a bit hard for us to get corn syrup.  So I did a little experiment with Mizuame which we can get in Japan.  It seems like we can work with Mizuame also but I need to add something else, too.

Oh Sonja, I really wish I could make things neat and beautifully as you do.   The glove looks like "made of iron" 😱😱😱

What? No, it looks like a delicate mesh dress glove when you look at the whole cookie, since all other ornaments (except birdie) are in the same color . Sometimes neatness doesn't cut it (it's one of my downfalls). Your cookie has so much charm, and it is neat where it counts! I LOVE it ❤️❤️❤️!!!

Amazing work! ❤❤❤

Thank you @Kanch J.  This was very difficult.  I couldn't do 2 entries like you did

Even though I made two entries it was so hard for me too. Since I'm not that good at piping.
You have done a spectacular work as you always do. This is incredible.

This is a new entry isn't it Ryoko? @Ryoko ~Cookie Ave. I just love all the wonderful detail and always appreciate the many different pics with explanations of how you went about piping each section . It's really beautiful ❤️

Hi Carol, thank you.  I had been wondering what I could do with Lambeth Method, this one was quite a challenge.

I laughed out loud when I read about your newly acquired "expertise" in scraping icing!

This is a phenomenal piece of cookie art! For a cookie that is using a very old (Lambeth) style, this has such a very new and modern feel. The detail on your hat (especially the flower) is truly exquisite. And I know you don't love the glove, but I think it is brilliant. I love how you used stacked piped lines to create both depth and contour. And the lace cuff on the glove is stunning. I really, really like how the colored little bird pops against the gray. It reminds me of the work of the street artist Banksy! This is an absolutely brilliant cookie.

Thank you, Christine. @Bakerloo Station   The basic design came out very early stage.  And I knew the hat and glove were going to be heavy piping but I wanted to make the bird to be focused and it should be cute and small.   So I colored the baby bird and rest of them is one dark color.   I intentionally made less layers for hair so eyes move from bird, glove to flower on the hat when we look at it.

So people look at my bumpy glove, that's a big peoblem because I couldn't figure out how big the margins should be between lines and how many layers I should have made to express smooth surface of mesh glove.

I couldn't decide what kind of frame I should have made for this until the last minute .....  probably symmetrical designed Lambeth method is needed somewhere for this design  but couldn't I think something really new???  i still wonder.
