Bachelorette Party!

One of my recent projects...a bridal shower (a particular favorite theme for a party). The rose is a technique I made by filling a flower shaped mold with cookie dough and baking it on top of the hexagon cookie. It gives the perfect shape for creating a dimensional rose on a cookie. I've never made lingerie cookies before and the one I did here was an experiment. I liked the lace piped with a thin layer of RI painted on and lightly brushed off to give the impression of a sheer garment.

As with most projects, this one presented challenges but a lot of satisfaction when completed. Best of all my client loved the cookies! I could "see" her smiling through her kind words to me. Such a wonderful feeling of accomplishment ❤️

Oh thank you so much dear Lisa @LisaF!! Yes, my client was thrilled with the set which always encourages me to keep striving to do better work. I have a long way to go but I also feel like I'm moving in the right direction. LOL. That rose cookie is one of my favorites and I'm often asked to repeat it which I love ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs...
