I used AmeriColor sky blue for the stringwork. It's a gorgeous color all on its own (in my opinion). The white stringwork is tinted with the smallest amount of sky blue. This helps it to coordinate perfectly with the dark blue stringwork. It also gives it a cooler undertone and allows it to contrast and stand out from the white flood icing. I used a medium shade of sky blue around the border to bring it all together.  Here are a couple of other views so that you can get a good sense of the depth and dimension.
