Oh Sonja, You've done it again!!! These are amazing, incredibly creative,  beautifully decorated,  awesome attention to detail, and at the same time absolutely adorable... I  love them all .

Thanks a lot, Zara  ❤️ ! I wanted to add a comment above and add a couple more pics, but got distracted. So I'm adding them below. One was this close-up of the snail, and yes, it is piped of royal icing. An extremely fun thing to do :

For me the big challenge was not to find something that fit in that butterfly shape, but to stop thinking about it ! My mind loves puzzles, and wouldn't let me sleep that first night! I ended up jotting down 19 ideas . I also wanted to add this front view of the turtle, since it shows the dimensions a bit better:

Wow! Everything is so incredible, but those pebbles under the frog look like a photograph. How on earth did you do them?

Thank you so much, Carol! I'm really happy you like them! The painting was quite a challenge for me, as I've never done it before, except for some simple background and strokes. The royal icing absorbs the food coloring very fast, so one has not much time to blend. But I'm quite satisfied with this first attempt, and weren't it for this challenge, I probably wouldn't have given it a try for a long time, if at all. So thanks for thinking of and putting together this awesome challenge, Christine @Bakerloo Station

Thanks a lot, Christine! It's my first real hand painting on RI . I just tried a couple of pebbles on a scrap cookie, and was really surprised at how they turned out. From there it was just adding one pebble after the other. They didn't always turn out the way I wanted them form wise. But it's a start

As I said this is just amazing!!! But I still can not figure out how you did that cute little buddy A tuto one day maybe? As for the shape and the ideas - I also have lots, but don't have your talent to implement them It is really umbelievable that you paint for the firt time, you sure got tons of talent!!!

Thanks again, dear Zara ! It's not that difficult to pipe miniatures. You just need to find the right RI consistency to do so. It has to be able to hold shape and become smooth, when you work on it with a lightly moist brush. For that snail I piped first the body, and then added the shell, one segment at the time, letting them dry over a bit in between. Then of course let the finished form dry totally before you paint it. Just give it a try with some leftover icing. It's really fun to play with it like this, and you will get the hang of it . Thanks again!!!
