Christmas 2020

Gingerbread houses means to me a lot especially on Christmas,magic time with great atmosphere,christmas songs & at most whole family together❤️

This year we can only imagine how it will be all together becouse we have lock down,but we can dream and remember some years ago.Anyway gingerbread house is never missing from our Christmas table jaunty in the middle❤️

Becouse wanted to try another shape, not as I usually do with my cutters,I saw this one on pinterest high with beautiful large windows https://gr.pinterest.com/pin/549579960783914955/ and actually loves those large windows,have to be honest didn't have enough courage to build exactly that one,finding it quite difficultBut sides are with large  gelatine windows at least

My gingerbread house is 30 cm tall

Like also some nordic elements,so I used stencil

and also the base spreaded with stiff royal icing dried and stenciled with green one

Roof..  spatula knife spreaded with light pink and after dried stenciled and airbrushed ,like those brown ornaments,to piped 2020 I used a piece of light blue isomalt,it's like piece of ice. Used also sugar hearts,isomalt iceberg,chocolate half ball,2isomalt angel heads and cinnamon as decoration

to make marble effct o door I watched this video,but I used oly 2 colors

crumped paper effect on my tree,isomalt and gelatine windows check on following photo

To feel more festine I put inside a candle ligh
