This set is a remake of a set that I made for PBP Challenge #21 - Lace, back in March 2017. Christine @Bakerloo Station’s challenges have always been an inspiration to me.
It is not always easy to transform and idea, or a project into cookies, but @Julia M. Usher’s video tutorials about how to bake, flood and decorate contoured cookies with @SugarVeil needlepoint lace, helped me a lot and gave me foundation.
These are the links to only two of her videos on You Tube (but if you have a passion for cookies and are eager to learn, I suggest you to watch them all):
here - “How to Dip and Decorate a Rounded or Contoured Cookie”
And now please allow me to spam you with some more pictures just because cookies are ephemeral and the pictures are the only things that last.
My first cookie spools back in March 2017:
The naked cookies. Sorry for all the crumbs! It is difficult to take pictures of 3-D cookies. This was a layout test to see if the cookies filled all the space or if I needed to add more spools (which I did actually). I didn’t plan to post this photo but I think it is interesting.
Here’s the final picture:
And here are two more pictures, because I like to play with different combination of cookies.
Wow! These cookies are so realistic, absolutely amazing! Love them 🎄❤️🎄
Thank you dear Evelin @Evelindecora, that’s why I displayed them on a plate! When people looked at the previous set, at first glance didn’t understand that they were cookies! 😂😂😂 ❤️
Ingenius and so lovely! Not sure how did you achieve the curved cookie, white one, in the front. Amazing!
Thank you @Dragana, that is a technique that I developed after I practiced with what I have learned from @Julia M. Usher’ tutorials. Practice bakes perfect!
Wow..These are absolutely amazing! ❤ You are so creative!
Thank you so much @Kanch J! As I said @Bakerloo Station’ challenges have always been a great source of inspiration. The combination of this inspiration, @Julia M. Usher techniques and my passion to create something with cookies led to all of this 💕
Absolutely love these Christmas spools dar Manu @Manu biscotti decorati!! Using the grid mat with SugarVeil is such a perfect way to obtain a perfect grid for piping shapes and words. I love this idea and it's perfect for any occasion .

Yes, I discovered that mat watching @Julia M. Usher’s videos and it was love at first sight. The challenge was the chance to purchase it and use it. Actually I have used it for the October tutorial and I kept using it! You’ll see more projects coming.
