A birthday cookie for a cookie friend@Ryoko ~Cookie Ave.met here on Cookie Connection and a peony from my garden. . .
Ryoko and I made a couple of cookie collaborations together (here and here), despite the distance Japan-Italy between us. We used the CookieConnection PM feature to communicate.
It is nice to bake for a fellow cookier. It is also nice as cookier to receive cookies, as I experienced last July when Ryoko made a B-day cookie for me!
(There are cherry blossoms handpainted with edible colors under the SugarVeil needlepoint grid. Handpainted background is an idea that I borrowed from @Teri Pringle Wood. Name cross stitched with royal icing.

Oh, that's a real flower from you garden? Mamma mia! That's absolutely beautiful! You made cookie for me and the flower is from your garden, this is so lovely. Grazie mille.
Yes it is from my garden. A beutiful bush of peonies blossomed for an entire week but the weather was too awful to take pics. Such a pity I had either beautiful flowers and bad light or beautiful weather and too late for fresh flowers! I am glad I finally took this picture on a sunny afternoon just to see how it looked. The next day the sun was so strong that when I came home to take pics all the flowers were discolored!

Thank you, again. Since you make everything so beautifully, I thought you had made this flower, too. You raised this flower so in that way you made this flower. You are so busy and do gardening also, wow!!! amazing. Very talented and capable.

I didn't realize that the flower was real (ha ha ). Thought you made it @Manu biscotti decorati . The peony is so beautiful and that color!!! Ah...i love it . You are indeed a woman of many talents ♡. Such a thoughtful birthday gift and I absolutely loved the cookie that @Ryoko ~Cookie Ave. Made for your birthday. How special and fun to celebrate fellow cookiers in this way .
