Glad I could create this also for my father but generally for Fathers' Day.The upper plaque symbolized island which is for me my dad,my refuge, solid ground underfoot!Means for me reliability,he is there whenever I need and he offer to me lot of LOVE❤️
Thank you DADDY❤️
Inside in labyrinth of textures is a shirt with a bit of green it means he gives me a breath, becouse where is green there is life! The T-shirt is just man case. For this I used metal cookie cutter from the start when was the icing still fluid.Next morning when dryed have to say wasn't so easy to take of the cookie cutter! The most ease is always after dry parchment or wax paper.Left on plaque I used plastic stencil to create another different texture. Those beautiful dots confetti I did like piped dots on parchment paper and after covered & lightly pressed on another parchment paper.Just let overnight to dry, that's the basic rule. And why confetti ..becouse there is a reason to celebrate!!For the letters and heart I used smooth and crinkle baking paper, for D after heart plastic texture form, for letter A alluminum crampled paper and for the small icing transfer piece silicone sheet, the last D is partially done ..first dark blue icing and smooth parchment paper and then white icing on left side, crampled strap on.
I love all of the wonderful symbolism and meaning behind this set, and you have so many fantastic textures going on here. I really like the idea of making confetti. It reminds me of homemade sprinkles, which can have so many fun uses. I also like how you have used minimal colors since it really allows the textures to stand out. This is another great entry!

I appreciate your nice comment dear Christine @Sweet Prodigy, thank you very much❤️
Oh Petra @Petra Florean, this set has to be one of my most favorite of the cookie art you've shared. The colors are wonderful and the way you incorporated DAD into the top cookie is so creative and beautifully done. What a great analogy you used for this particular cookie to symbolize the steadiness of you dad's presence in your life! I love that as it's something I had with my father as well. You also refer to the green you used as signifying breath ... where there is green, there is life! What a wonderful way to look at your father. You amaze me my dear friend ❤️❤️❤️ Hugs...
