It's hard for me to decide, but I think this one is my favorite entry of yours. The mushrooms looks so realistic!! Can you tell us how you covered the mushroom caps? It looks like the were mostly dipped (or spread??) with royal icing and then airbrushed, but I wasn't quite sure from what you said. At any rate, an excellent job!

Loved to read this comment this morning.Thank you Julia @Julia M. Usher.About covering of mushrooms caps-heads so I used process as you in your video which was created for us cookiers here in Cookie Connection with so much love and effort. You are so generous and have to say so so preffesional,we always have to learn from you.

So I had a ball with royal icing fluid consistency  but not so like a water, just as you said in video coated nicely the spoon when you turn the spoon ,I didn't used steel cylinder but actually piping noozles ,you can see that on photo in my post.I dipped some of my caps whole in icing,of course cleaned with my toothstick and my needle that is left over I mean under the caps.To work and "mooving on" faster I dried them in oven as on photo. But becouse you see it is not so smooth as yours becouse on purpose I added irregular drops of this icing so I get this realistic result  There are also 2 small balls I created from 2 half small hemispheres glued together and after dipped in icing as nailed down on toothstick,I wait all icing which flowed just stop and after I moved it on baking sheet to dry in oven, doesn't matter the down site of ball becouse finally I etched it so fit on the leg of mushroom,I used airbrush to colour caps for legs also dust colour with alcohol or without for the white splasches on caps I used brush and white colour with alcohol.

Thank you to asking more about, for your interest and of course for your priceless information and help in your absolutely perfect 2 DEMO video classes and for this opportunity to take a part in challenge.I am very grateful❤️

One more gorgeous fall scene, Petra! What a wonderful idea and use of contoured cookies.
I thought you posted your inspiration pictures of some real mushrooms, yet they were your cookies! I love the textures you created to decorate the mushrooms caps. And I also liked the idea to use isomalt for some of them.
Thanks for the video

Thank you dear Manu,I just couldn't resist 😘 I'm very glad that all went well 😊, because many times it's not as idea in reality after 😆also have to say I will never use brush for painting in aluminum foil, because I burned a bit hair on it and it's a bit brown colour. Thank you once again for your time you spent with Julia for this challenge and for nice comment too❤❤

Wow! Very impressive work. I agree with @Manu biscotti decorati. I kept scrolling through what I thought were inspirational photos. It took me a moment to realize that these very realistic-looking mushrooms were the result of your fantastic cookie decorating skills. As always, I love all of the texture and creativity in your cookie set. ♥
