It has been made byAlebìlab. I saw it on her table in an Art &Craft shop, where she was making mixed media objects for Valentine's Day. I fell in love with it and asked her if I could make and post the "cookie version" of it. She didn't quite understand what I was meaning at the beginning, as this cookie art is not so well known in Italy yet. Then I explained her well and after showing her some pictures she kindly said yes. Who knows, maybe sooner or later she will use cookies as her new medium as well.
This looks fun to make. Did you put cookie frame on the cookie base or is the frame all icing? Very interesting and cute cookie for Valentine, Manu. I love this one.

Thank you, Ryoko. These are three cookies: a square one, the frame and the heart. The frame is painted with royal icing of medium consistency, two coats. I also painted the edges of the square cookie and the heart with Royal icing. Then I flooded the heart.
Manu, I just love the texture of the frame around the heart!! So different and creative. Awesome work
Thank you, Carol. I still need to work wirh icing consistency and find the right paintbrush, but I am quite happy, though I know I could have made a cleaner job.
