Short pastry decoration on royal icing cookie

The use of sugar paste on short pastry has never fully convinced me, especially for its consistency. So I always thought that in addition to royal icing, something else could be created to allow everyone to decorate quickly.  Here it is,  "Dolce Frolla"(TM), my personal cookie dough. It doesn' t need to be cooked, it is workable, it can be colored, and allows well-defined decorations with the use of molds or pastry bags. In the future I'll show you how it can be done in various ways, hoping to inspire you.

These are So beautiful, I love them. Is there a tutorial on how to do the crackle coat?

Thank you @DianeT,  I applied some white powdered color diluted with a little alcohol before baking the cookies

Wow!!! Great use of the crackle effect on cookies Filomena @Dolce Flo! These are just gorgeous...(of course they are, YOU made them ). Did you use a cookie dough colored blue or did you flood with dark blue before adding the crackle effect? It looks like there's some dark blue showing through those cracks. Look at all that wonderful detail! The roof design on the bird house is really unique and so pretty. Love it my dear ❤️

You can emboss most cookie doughs, you know. I've got loads of videos that show how.

Carol I made the cacao cookies and I didn't add dark blue. It's just the cacao dough that you can see under the crackle effect. The roof is made with a pastry that doesn't need to be cooked. Thank you for your kindness. Kisses @Cookies Fantastique ❤️
