Peacock Mosaic | The Magpie Bakery

This was inspired by Photo #10 which, when I first saw it, looked like feathers and instantly made me think of peacocks.

What GORGEOUS colors!  I love how you combined the black piped lines and the watercolors.  And the tile puzzle is very cool. Did you find that puzzle configuration in any of the inspiration pics?

Thank you so much!  Photos 7, 10 and 13 all have a star/triangle type layout, which was definitely the inspiration for my design. I innovated a little, but it was certainly the photos that provided the idea.

Also, I spent a wonderful holiday in Istanbul with my family last May--looking at your photos reminded me of what a beautiful time we had. It's such a lovely place.
