tr - There is an unsubscribe button on every email that this site sends. However, I suggest you try changing your email notifications first - you can set them to receive as many as you want or none at all. Tina - When people reply to email notifications from email, the reply posts directly to the email to which they replied. This makes it ultra-convenient to comment on a post you're interested in, but it introduces a lot of unrelated comments like this that should have been directed elsewhere. It's hard for me to catch them all; this one was reported to me by someone else. Sorry for the inconvenience, and I hope I've helped out tr in the process.
When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
